Nasa Collective Agreement Ualberta

NASA negotiates a collective agreement (CA) with the University of Alberta that sets out the terms and conditions of employment for non-academic staff. Below is the current agreement, the 2016 – 2019 collective agreement. Please note that the timing of negotiating a new collective agreement has been significantly disrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic, but the terms of the current agreement remain in effect until a new agreement is negotiated and ratified by NASA members. You can visit the 2019-20 Bargaining Updates page for the latest updates on this round of negotiations and the current status of the negotiating proposals. Since then, Grant MacEwan College has grown significantly and has become MacEwan University. MSA continues to provide its members with representation and services in the areas of labour relations, disability management and collective bargaining. NASA also represents certain groups of employees on campus through two separate agreements, the Alberta Public Interest Research Group (APIRG) and the University of Alberta Students` Association. The Non-Academic Staff Association was established in the early 1980s with the aim of creating a body to promote the goals of non-academic staff. The objectives of the time are still present today. Following a majority vote at the Spring General Assembly on June 13, 2001, the Non-Academic Staff Association (NASA) changed its name to the MacEwan Staff Association.

Part A deals specifically with „operational“ staff, Part B specifically with „trust“ staff and Part C specifically „EEL trainers“ to the extension faculty. MSA is committed to improving the work environment and the interests of its members, while contributing to the success of the university. . If you have any questions about the collective agreement, you can contact a steward near you or your Labour Relations Officer (LRO). Msa members` jobs vary at MacEwan University – including administrators, office staff, research analysts, educational assistants, financial staff, after-sales service staff, post office staff, cooks, babysitters, maintenance workers, monitors, librarians, computer scientists, parking staff, electrician, plumber, program advisor, graphic designer, marketing advisor, buyer, and event organizer. . . .
